I’m Wilhelmina Ojanen, a choreographer, performer and dance pedagogue.
I work with the body. I am interested in the intricacies and delicacies of the human body, our connection to one another through corporeality. Within my movement practice I am interested in exploration the intersection of physicality and poetry, of softness and strength, and of memory and embodiment.
My interests and research span from political philosophy, anthropology and ecology into personal geographies, poetry, materiality, and notions of time. Right now I am delving deeper into dance pedagogy, and I am interested in developing ways being in touch with more-than-human worlds through embodied movement pedagogy and choreography.
